For our Digital Team we are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer, with a passion for water & digitalization
Skills and Qualifications
The most fundamental skills for this position are:
- Prior experience in Python programming
- Experience with agile development and DevOps principles
- Familiar in data analysis, business intelligence, dashboarding and reporting
- Experience with relational databases, process historians and data lakes
- Fluent in English
In addition to these, we are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications.
- You have a scientific background that indicates your capacity to develop narratives rooted in data
- You are interested in Microsoft Azure Cloud
- You have prior experience in process automation, Ignition Perspective
- You are familiar with basic UI/UX concepts and tools
Soft skills:
- intrinsically motivated to work for an environmental engineering company
- know how to articulate your ideas and solutions well
- proactively improving existing systems / looking for improvements

- enjoy working with others

Responsibilities
- Co-develop our operational intelligence platform SmartLab
- Dashboarding, reporting, exploratory data analysis
- g. treatment performance, energy consumption, chemical usage, etc.
- Bridge between data engineers and operational engineers
- Analyse what the needs are and translating these into a functional solutions
- Maintain and improve existing data analytics solutions
- Present your work on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders
- Train internal and external users and developers
